Wayward Wind is a 1981 S2 9.2a. She is a well maintained and well outfitted blend of sport and cruise owned by a US Coast Guard licensed captain. Back from an 8 month cruise, she is loaded with excellent sailing gear, including: an asymmetrical spinnaker, 155% genoa, a new 135% furling genoa, Garhauer rigid vang, rope clutches (with all halyards and reefing lines led to cockpit), dodger, and bimini. She has a beautiful teak interior with BRAND NEW upholstery and BRAND NEW cabin sole (simulated teak from PlasTeak – very high quality and durable). She sleeps 4 adults comfortably, with room for 6 (V-berth, convertible double settee, settee, and large quarter berth). Her 2 cylinder Yanmar diesel provides extremely reliable service and is in great shape. S2’s are known for their high quality construction and sailing performance. Wayward Wind is a joy to sail and spend extended time aboard (shower, fresh and salt water pumps in galley, large ice box, holding tank with pump-out or overboard discharge, hanging locker, plenty of storage).
